FOR A LONG TIME,
I THOUGHT MY BODY WAS THE PROBLEM
I trained harder. Ate less. Followed the plans.
And blamed myself when nothing changed.
What I did not understand at the time was this:
My body was not broken.
It was under fueled, overstressed, inflamed, and navigating hormone shifts no one had prepared me for.
Everything changed when I stopped chasing quick fixes and started learning how the body actually works from the inside out.
I focused on protein, metabolism, strength, nervous system support, cellular health, and sustainable habits instead of restriction and burnout.
That shift changed more than my body.
It changed my energy, confidence, mindset, and relationship with food.

Pretty Tough was built from lived experience, not theory.
After years of dieting harder, exercising more, and still feeling stuck in a body that stopped responding the way it used to, I realized women do not need more discipline.
They need a smarter, more supportive approach to health that accounts for metabolism, hormones, recovery, and what is actually happening inside the body, especially after 40.
Because real results do not come from punishment.
They come from alignment.
